Cupids Against Cancer 2008 was held on February 16 at the Oakville Conference Centre. It was a truly memorable evening with a gourmet dinner, dancing, and a Live and Silent Auction! We raised a record $30,000 for our charity, On the Tip of the Toes Foundation. Thanks for your support!

Held for the first time in February 2004, Cupids Against Cancer began as a way to put action behind the loss of Katy McDonald, the niece of event founders Ray & April Ganong. With the support and assistance of friends, family and the community, this charitable event raised $15,000 in 2005, $17,000 in 2006, $20,000 in 2007 and with our last event on Feb 16, 2008 we raised $30,000! Each year we have split the funds raised between two or more charities that provide ongoing support for those who are fighting cancer as well as family and friends who share the struggle with them. On The Tip Of The Toes Foundation has been the one constant charity that we have always donated. In 2008 we concentrated on raising funds just for Tip of Toes. What they do for the kids is amazing. With your help, we’re looking forward to an even more successful event in 2009!
